WHAT TO SCOUT

The box score is only the first page.

Junior dominance can hide the details. The real evaluation is how a player’s tools project when the size, speed and role demands rise.

DECISION MAKING

Can the advantage travel?

Watch how quickly a player reads help defense, moves the ball and adjusts when the first option disappears. Those habits transfer better than a scoring average alone.

ROLE RANGE

Can she help without being the star?

Junior teams collect primary scorers from across the country. The players who defend, screen, rebound and connect lineups show a senior ready layer.

PHYSICAL TRANSLATION

What changes against grown strength?

Length and athleticism matter, but balance, touch, footwork and contact tolerance often tell more about the jump to college and professional basketball.

THE W CONNECTION

Follow the names forward.

The junior archive becomes more valuable over time. Playerpedia and Who Got Next? connect early USA assignments to college development, draft stock and eventual WNBA roles.
