Nine current players, nine different paths through higher education.

Kelsey Mitchell

Mitchell is pursuing a Ph.D. in educational leadership at Liberty University while producing one of the most prolific scoring stretches in WNBA history. In August 2026, she broke the league record for consecutive 20-point games and continued extending it. Teammate Caitlin Clark has described Mitchell working on papers on her laptop roughly 90 minutes before tipoff, then going out and scoring 30.
