THE EXPANSION CLUBS
Breeze + Hive entered differently.
Both were new brands, but their rosters pulled together established Unrivaled players, WNBA stars and newcomers to the league.
2026 roster included Cameron Brink, Paige Bueckers, Rickea Jackson, Dominique Malonga, Kate Martin, Aari McDonald and Courtney Williams. Brink, Jackson, Martin and Williams all had Year One Unrivaled connections before landing on the expansion club.

The original clubs did not simply run it back.
Expansion redistributed familiar names across the league. These snapshots show the cleanest club-to-club changes between the inaugural season and Season 2.
Napheesa Collier and Skylar Diggins stayed. Allisha Gray moved to Mist, Shakira Austin to Rose, and Courtney Williams and Cameron Brink landed with expansion Breeze. Aaliyah Edwards and Marina Mabrey joined the 2026 Owls.
Breanna Stewart remained the anchor. Rickea Jackson moved to Breeze and Aaliyah Edwards to Lunar Owls. Allisha Gray and Arike Ogunbowale joined a reworked 2026 champion roster.
Alyssa Thomas and Jackie Young remained. Kate Martin moved to Breeze, Tiffany Hayes to Phantom, while Brittney Sykes, Naz Hillmon, Jordin Canada and Maddy Siegrist joined the 2026 club.
Chelsea Gray, Angel Reese, Kahleah Copper and Lexie Hull stayed together. Azurá Stevens moved to Hive, Brittney Sykes to Laces, and Shakira Austin joined from Lunar Owls.
Natasha Cloud and Satou Sabally remained. Brittney Griner shifted to Vinyl and Marina Mabrey to Lunar Owls. Aliyah Boston, Kelsey Plum, Kiki Iriafen and others reshaped the 2026 roster.
Rhyne Howard, Dearica Hamby and Rae Burrell stayed in the core. Arike Ogunbowale moved to Mist, Jordin Canada to Laces and Aliyah Boston to Phantom, while Brittney Griner arrived from Phantom.
Roster note
Year One clubs also used relief players as injuries changed availability. This comparison emphasizes the core season rosters and permanent Year Two assignments rather than every short-term replacement appearance.
SEASON 3 WATCH
Eight clubs are confirmed. More expansion is not.
Unrivaled has already announced new 2027 player signings, but no ninth or tenth club has been officially announced as of Aug. 25, 2026. The page will track facts, not wish-casting.
Olivia Miles, Gabby Williams, Flau’jae Johnson, Bridget Carleton, Marine Johannès, Kayla Thornton and Jessica Shepard are among announced Season 3 additions, with Kayla McBride returning.
